Summit Middle School Mock Poster Session, Boulder, CO
Nov. 2012
Nov. 2012
As Summit middle school students were in the process of designing and executing their own scientific research projects to present at the science fair in 2 months, myself and 5 other graduate students volunteered to assist in a mock poster session. Rather than having the students show us their posters, we made posters on our research for the students to judge. This was a fun experience and one that I think was really valuable for the students. The students were both able to learn about exciting research that was being done in Boulder and also learn how the “real” scientists present their research findings.
